Summary
1. Subjective sleep quality on swinging systems
Felt recreation:
improvement of 25% from 2,95 to 3,75 (scale from 1-6)
2. Objective sleep quality on swinging systems
Time to fall asleep:
All test persons could reduce it up to 8%, sleepers reacting positively to swinging sleep up to 43%.
7 out of 10 test persons fall asleep faster.
Net sleep duration:
Improvement of 7% with all and 25% with sleepers who react positively to swinging sleep.
Total sleep duration:
9 of 10 test sleepers have a longer total sleep duration
- Increase of deep sleep shares.
- Reduction of sleep phases per hour.
- Reduction of arousals (increased wake up reactions of the body) during the night.
- Reduction of micro arousals in the deep sleep phases to 25% that means the deep sleep is less disturbed.
The total time spent in bed is increased to 13%.
3. Conclusion of all measured results
In 70% of all cases, swinging sleep improves the sleep objectively. Almost all test sleepers report an improved recreation of swinging sleep. The improvement is reached after 2-3 weeks and stabilizes after 5-6 weeks. |
